This will be short and sweet – between the snow, tiredness, pregnancy cravings and SPD my nutrition and my activity for the past week have been absolutely shocking. There is no point in updating to say any more than that really!
However, I’m not going to dwell on it, I have stocked up on healthy snacks and done a nice looking meal plan that includes some of our favourite healthy, filling meals. D is currently training for a 10K run and was also a bit concerned that we haven’t been eating so well, so he’s encouraging a bit of a change.
From a wellbeing point of view, I have managed to rest and I’ve also arranged for some physio for my SPD. I’m taking a daily pregnancy multivitamin and some extra iron to help me with the anaemia, and I’ve also started keeping a gratitude journal. I aim to write down three good things that have happened each day, however small, and the reasons why they have mattered. I’m hoping they will keep me focused on the positive.
Nearly at the end of January – how are your New Year’s resolutions going?
I’ve started keeping a gratitude journal too! It’s made such a difference. The same things usually show up day after day but it’s good to be reminded
Cultivating that abundant feeling within yourself really does make you feel good. I hope to keep it up.
So glad to hear you’ve found it useful – I’m hoping it will give me a moment’s reflection in my day, it’s so important to count our many blessings
I haven’t made new years resolutions. I always goal set so I am always working to targets for fitness training and personal life. So far so good for me
Good to hear!
